End of 2010 Wrap Up

It's been awhile since I last posted. It's been a hectic 3 weeks with shows, meetings and babysitting 2 girls (age 5 and 7). And I'm loving every minute of it.

Last Dec. 14th I had two events back to back, a Jingle Mingle for the DeSoto Chamber, followed by a bridal open house at the Hanging Gardens Event Center in Duncanville. (Brides in this area, you should check them out. The whole area is a garden with a waterfall and there is an indoor area.) I have been performing at the Hanging Gardens for the past couple of decades, watching it go through several owners. The current owners have made great strides with the place during the past several years, always improving.

Christmas was a blast. The girls entered the room sleepy eyed, not wanting to get up and open their presents from Santa. It took a little pep talk to get them excited. They ended up looking like Taz (the devil) ripping through the presents.

Business is up this year, about a 56% increase from last year. My last show for the year will be on New Year's Eve at the No-Frills Grill in Mansfield. Stop on by and say "Hi"
